About Bil
Bil was born and raised in Kitchener and is a life long resident of Ward 7. Bil currently lives with his wife and two adult children. Bil holds a degree from Carleton University and worked as a financial advisor with Investors Group where he specialized in retirement planning before turning his attention to serving the citizens of Kitchener on City Council. Bil was first elected to council in 2010. To support an ever changing community, consistency with a proven track record and experience matter more than ever. He will be able to hit the ground running rather than spending 4 years to learn the role. In addition to his official duties as a councillor, Bil remains active in our community (frontlines) building affordable housing in Waterloo Region for Habitat for Humanity, supporting the Farwell 4 Hire Campaign for Cystic Fibrosis and serving the Leejay Levene Art Calendar project - an organization dedicated to remembering the life and legacy of Leejay Levene.
